Mango Lime Energy Balls Recipe: Doctor Varun Ram Raj

Ingredients:

  1. Dried mango pieces – 50 g
  2. Coconut flakes (for the mixture) – 40 g
  3. Coconut flakes (for garnish) – 10 g
  4. Lime – 1 (juice)
  5. Fresh grated coconut – 2 tbsp
  6. Rose water (optional) – 1–2 tsp
  7. Cardamom powder – ¼ tsp
  8. Vanilla powder – 1 pinch
  9. Rock salt – a small pinch

Note:
Coconut is a cooling ingredient that balances fiery and airy digestive types. Mango brings natural sweetness and valuable nutrients while lime gently supports digestion and adds a refreshing taste.

Preparation Method:
 Cut the dried mango pieces into small bits and soak them in lime juice for at least 10 minutes. Blend the soaked fruits into a fine purée (add rose water if desired). Add coconut flakes and fresh coconut, and grind everything into a smooth mixture. Season with cardamom, vanilla, and a pinch of rock salt. With wet hands, roll the mixture into small bite-sized balls and coat them with the remaining coconut flakes. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Variation:
 Instead of mango, you can also prepare this recipe with pineapple for a delicious tropical twist.
